What a sweet little place. I had 3 kinds of pierogis since I was short on time. Potato/cheese, meat, and meat & cabbage, homemade, fresh, very generous size and portion, and perfectly well-made with sour cream and sautéed onion. It was like going into someone's sparkling clean kitchen with 3 little old Polish ladies treating everyone like they were at home, so friendly and welcoming. Next time I will go earlier and really eat dinner there. All the food looked delicious and the folks eating there were families and obvious regulars. It's right next to one of my favorite theaters so they'll see me again.
Update 4/19: Full dinner with 2 friends pre-theater; great experience. Double (huge) order of 3 kinds of pierogis, two generous beet salads, a stuffed cabbage with potatoes, 4 crisp and delicious potato pancakes, three delightful large blintzes, juice, bread, and all the sour cream and applesauce we could eat. Everything was very fresh and delicious (and I'm not the biggest Polish food fan) and we were stuffed. Great service. Heard from someone about the giant bill for unordered food issue mentioned in some reviews.; I actually didn't check our bill closely but it was $20 for each of us including tax and tip, seemed very reasonable. Wish they took credit cards but otherwise, I think it's a gem. -

The 2 stars are for the food because it was delicious and authentic, however I do wish I had read the other reviews prior to coming to this place as it can be a bit sketchy.
It was my first time at this particular restaurant but not my first at a polish restaurant so although I did appreciate the "guidance", the server can be pushy and have you over order if you're not careful. He was also in somewhat of a "hurry" when I had questions, even when the place was empty.
What did it for us was when the check arrived, some of the items "went up" in price plus he charged us for a pitcher of juice we didn't order and that he placed on our table as soon as we sat down.
In summary, decent food, runs like a tourist trap, buyers beware, baffled by the 5 stars reviews. -

We went in here not too sure what to try out so our server just ordered for us. He was a little pushy to just order for you so make sure you speak up if you're not willing to try what he suggested. We opted in for it to get a taste of a variety of food. I really enjoyed the soup and Pierogis the best! We also tried the sausage, cheese blitz, stuffed cabbage.
I would go back but next time just get the items I liked! It was a little overpriced for all the food he ordered for us. -

Authentic polish food
They actually have two older women who cook the food. Reminds me of my babci. Very reasonably priced food and amazing quality. I had the soup golembki and pierogi which were awesome. Very laid back the decor was simple and authentic.
Want to relax and have no one bother you with friendly service and real polish food. Eat here, seems to be a dying art these days.
I hope they train their family to continue the tradition.
